Aquilaria (Agarwood) Plant Donation
Sadaharitha Plantations Ltd has donated over 1,500 plants to 150 chosen less privileged Buddhist temples assuring a worthy return of Rs. 90 million in 8 years. This income will be utilized to enhance the religious and social services extended by these selected temples, which in return assist the society to hold on to a better life. Mr. Sathis Nawarathne – Chairman/ Managing Director of Sadaharitha Plantations graced the event along with Mr. Jayampathy Mirando – Director Sales and Marketing, and many staff members of the Sadaharitha family.
Tree Planting Project – Southern Expressway
Sadaharitha joined the Road Development Authority to facilitate the tree planting week of the southern expressway. This project will utilize every possible cultivatable land alongside the expressway in an effort to have a greener expressway in the future. This was organized by the Horana branch of Sadaharitha during the week July 3rd to 8th. Mr. Sathis Nawarathne – Chairman/ Managing Director of Sadaharitha Plantations along with Mr. Jayampathy Mirando – Director Sales and Marketing, and many staff members of the Sadaharitha family participated in the inauguration event on 4th July 2016.
