Sadaharitha Awareness School Program on Climate Change, Disaster Mitigation and Biodiversity.

As the world faces disasters frequently one after the other, Sadaharitha Plantations Limited decided to increase the awareness of the school children on Climate Change, Disaster Mitigation and Biodiversity. We first selected Handapangoda School of Horana for this program which conducted on 07th October 2010 from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm. The objective of this program is to create a young generation who are capable of identifying and mitigating the disasters. We received a very high feedback from the school teachers, pupils and parents and upon the success of this first program, we decided to continue the program in other schools all over the country.
